ORLANDO, Fla. —
A Central Florida High School student is making sure premature babies at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies have something to wear this Halloween.
Rachel Maretsky created and dropped off 130 superhero-themed capes for babies in the hospital’s NICU.
Officials with Orlando Health said this is Rachel’s largest drop-off yet, and works to cheer up parents whose children won’t be able to make it home in time for Halloween.
“I really enjoy getting to do this for the babies and their families every year. It feels good to do something kind for others when they’re going through something difficult,” said Rachel.
