Weather advisory issued for parts of Lake, Orange as strong storm moves through area

The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for southwestern Lake and southwestern Orange counties until 11:15 a.m.

Radar showed a strong thunderstorm eight miles southwest of Mascotte at about 10:30 a.m., and it was moving east at 30 mph. Pea-size hail and gusts up to 50 mph and funnel clouds could be possible with this storm, the weather service said.
