Both Orlando Health and AdventHealth – operators of Central Florida’s biggest hospitals – announced expansion projects last week in Osceola County.

On May 2, AdventHealth announced plans to add an additional three floors to a patient tower at its Orange Blossom Trail campus in Kissimmee.

The project will create an additional 123,000 square feet and 80 private rooms to the already three-story tower.

Preliminary work has begun on an elevator shaft, with actual tower construction expected to begin this fall.
