ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County sheriff’s deputy shot and critically injured a gunman Sunday night after the man opened fire on him during a struggle, authorities said.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of a shopping plaza at the corner of West Colonial and Apopka Vineland in Orange County.
