After temperatures reached sweltering highs Thursday, a cool relief is coming for Central Florida.
A cold front bringing temperatures as low as 58 degrees is expected to roll through the area this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
As a result of the cold front, patchy fog is expected in the south area of Central Florida, NWS said.
Central Florida temperatures hit a record high in the month of October with temperatures reaching an average of 80.6 degrees and the hottest Halloween recorded at 90 degrees, according to the NWS.
Temperatures are forecast to reach a high of 79 Friday and a low of 64 at night, NWS said.
