Andi Stein posed for a picture, capturing what’s been a surreal scene at Disneyland this summer of just her, the Millennium Falcon and practically nobody else.
“It was wild,” said the university professor of her visits to Galaxy’s Edge in California.
Echoing other accounts from reporters and social media, she said she encountered a land without the wall-to-wall crowds and long wait times normally commonplace at theme parks’ big openings.
Last week, Walt Disney Co. executives confirmed that attendance dipped 3% at U.S. theme parks, despite the debut of the $1 billion Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland.
