The city of Kissimmee has launched its new Emergency Notification System for residents and visitors thanks to Everbridge Mass Alerting and a Partnership with AlertOsceola!, a program through Osceola County Emergency Management.

The city encourages residents to sign up for both of the following types of notifications:

General Emergency Alerts: To receive general alerts about emergency situations impacting the entire City, text “KISSIMMEE” to 888777

Location Specific Alerts: The location-based emergency notification system, commonly referred to as “Reverse 9-1-1,” allows the city to alert you to emergency situations that are a threat to life or property, or situations deemed dangerous by public safety officials. This may include but is certainly not limited to neighborhood/business evacuation notifications, man-made disasters, hazardous materials incidents, missing persons, or crime.
