TAMPA, Fla. – Officials have waived adoption fees and are working with nearby animal shelters and rescue groups to accommodate 350 dogs seized from a dog breeding business.

Hillsborough County officials said conditions were so dangerous at Trish’s All Breed Grooming that they obtained a court order this week and evacuated about 350 dogs into the county’s pet shelters.

The county waived adoption fees for dogs already in their shelters. It will be at least 30 days before the seized dogs can be adopted.
