All three people involved in a fiery two-vehicle crash near Poinciana died Tuesday night, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Marigold Avenue and Bell Tower Crossing East.
Deputies said a red Nissan 350Z driven by Emmanuel Lashawn Macedo Semedo, 19, of Kissimmee was speeding north on Marigold and struck a white Nissan Sentra head-on after crossing the center line. The Sentra, which was driven by Johana Martinez Rodriguez, 45, of Kissimmee, was propelled into the air and crashed into a ditch, deputies said.
