OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were killed after a shooting was reported outside a Bank of America in Kissimmee, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the shooting happened at 2000 E. Osceola Parkway around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Major Jacob Ruiz, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office public information officer, said deputies found two people dead in a parking lot when they arrived to the Ventura Downs shopping center.

It’s unclear if the two people involved knew each other.

“We don’t know that yet. Obviously, that’s going to be important for the detectives involved to determine and, if that’s the case, to establish that relationship or whatever relationship it was and learn from this incident why it occurred,” Ruiz said.
